Carried out summer Research on the topic ‘Magnetotellurics for Hydrocarbon Exploration’ under guidance of Dr. Prasanta K. Patro, Principal Scientist, MT Division, National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Hyderabad. During the period, I learned basic theories of Magnetotellurics and various steps such as data analysis using MATLAB, modelling (2D forward & inverse, 3D forward) using WinGLink (Schlumberger) software and interpretation for hydrocarbon exploration.
